
On Wednesday, June 13, 2018 we hosted our #FosterChat on Twitter (@SaintAorg), in partnership with the Coalition for Children, Youth & Families. June’s topic was on LGBTQ+ Foster Youth. According to our Twitter snapshot on Union Metrics, our twitter chat had over 150,000 potential impressions, reaching 5,183 people.

Q1: What do we need to know about LGBTQ+ youth in foster care?
A1: LGBTQ+ youth are over-represented among the #FosterCare population; they are 2x more likely to use alcohol and drugs, be verbally abused, experience physical assault, and be excluded from by peers. #FosterChat
