Train the Trainer: 7ei of Trauma Informed Care

January 31 @ 9:00 am - February 10 @ 1:00 pm

Want to become a 7ei Trainer? Train the Trainer is a great way to continue the growth of trauma informed care at your organization. Trainers will be able to provide ongoing professional development to current and new staff. This promotes a common language of trauma informed care that supports best practice for children, families and adults.

Participants will complete an eight-part virtual session in which they will be trained by a SaintA training staff on SaintA’s 7ei module of trauma informed care. Participants will enhance their knowledge about the underlying research and resources that support 7ei. Participants will be equipped with tools and resources to create awareness and inspire a trauma informed perspective in their agency or organization. Participants will receive opportunities for coaching to deliver the content effectively.

* Trainers will be certified to train the 7ei model at their named entity (facility, agency, school district or consortium) and are only authorized to train individuals employed by this entity. Under no circumstances is the trainee certified to authorize others to train using the 7ei curriculum. Certification will expire two years after training is completed at which time the person must discontinue teaching 7ei until recertified. If you have questions about this policy please contact SaintA Training at SaintATraining@sainta.org.

NOTE: Participants must complete all eight parts of the virtual session to be certified.
