Employment Benefits

SaintA offers outstanding employment benefits that are customizable to meet the needs of each employee*.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

SaintA encourages its employees to take time to re-charge and relax. We offer a generous leave program based on length of service and position. In 2021, PTO starts at 19 days a year for hourly employees, 24 days a year for salaried employees, and 29 days a year for supervisors.

Health Insurance

SaintA offers two health plans:
  • HRA Plan with access to an HRA (Health Reimbursement Agreement) that significantly reduces out-of-pocket expenses for deductible amounts.
  • HSA Plan which qualifies the employee to sign up for an HSA (Health Savings Account).
Members have access to a robust, nationwide network.

Critical Illness and/or Accident Protection Plan

Independent of our medical insurance, the Critical Illness Plan and the Accident Protection Plan are available to help reimburse members if they are diagnosed with a critical illness or are in a non-work related accident.

Dental Insurance

Coverage includes $1,000 for orthodontics for dependent children under the age of 19.

Vision Insurance

Enrollees have access to a large network of vision care providers and optical retailers.

Flexible Spending

Employees may establish a pre-tax savings account for dependent care up to $5,000/year and/or medical care up to $2,750/year.

403(b) Retirement Plan

Employees are eligible to contribute to the SaintA 403(b) retirement plan immediately upon starting. After completing one year of service, they become eligible for the company’s generous matching plan.

Life insurance

SaintA offers two life insurance plans at no cost to the employee: Group Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment. Group Term Life is valued at two times the employee’s salary. Accidental Death and Dismemberment is worth up to two times the employee’s salary. Full time employees are also able to purchase voluntary life insurance for themselves, spouse, and child(ren).

Long-Term Disability

Long-term disability is offered to employees at no cost. If the employee is off work for a personal medical condition that lasts more than three months, the employee can file a claim for long-term disability.

Short-Term Disability

This is a voluntary benefit available to full-time employees.


Full-time employees have access to two MetLife products: MetLaw and MetLife Home and Auto Insurance. MetLaw gives the enrollee access to a network of attorneys to help with a wide array of legal issues for one low monthly cost that is directly billed to the employee. MetLife Home and Auto allows full-time employees access to discounts on their home and auto insurance.

Wellness Benefit

Employees can be reimbursed 75% of the cost for gym/fitness memberships, sessions with a personal trainer, or fitness/wellness classes up to a maximum of $350 per year.

*The benefits listed above are in effect as of 2021. Benefits may change in future years. Some of these benefits are available only to full-time employees. Employees working at least 30 hours a week are considered full-time. Spouses, domestic partners and dependent children of full-time employees also are eligible to enroll in the benefit plan. Some of these benefits are available immediately, some begin after 30 days of employment, and some begin after 90 days of employment.
